Here are three important features of this site:
Cross-DB associative search -- search documents by documents
After making simple search, select some articles from the search results and click [search related items] button to search similar ones. You can switch the target DB using a combo-box next to the button.
Topic words to summarize the search results
Every time it returns the search results, a list of words (topic words) to summarize the results are attached. They can be used to refine the query.
Build query for outside search engines
User can continue their search with outside engines: AltaVista, Google, and goo (most popular one in Japan). From selected documents or topic words, system automatically build the query for them.
